Det är med glädje jag kan berätta att universitetets nya plan för jämställdhet och lika villkor är beslutad. Den lyfter fyra viktiga mål för universitetet. Målen fokuserar på diskrimineringsfria karriärvägar, en hög kunskap i organisationen, ett systematiskt förebyggande arbeta och hanteringen och förebyggandet av trakasserier. På nationell nivå har finansieringen av profilområden gått framåt*

Den 13 januari gav regeringen Vetenskapsrådet och de andra stora forskningsfinansiärerna (Forte, Formas och Vinnova) i uppdrag att vidareutveckla hur finansieringen av profilområden kan implementeras utifrån deras förslag från 2021. Palmhuset i Botan ska byggas om

Palmhuset i Botan ska byggas ut och miljön förbättras både för medarbetare och besökare. Produktionen planeras till 2024 och beräknas ta drygt ett år. Ombyggnaden omfattar ett nytt högre Palmhus och en ny entrébyggnad som ska passa Botaniska trädgårdens behov bättre. Nya chefen på LU Innovation vill ta vara på universitetets bredd
